2017 assessment

2017 was a loaded year for our association, full of novelties, events, gratefulness and lessons.

Novelties

The association was legally constituted, acquired members, got to be known and has more products for sale hand-made by the young women of the Juvi Home.

Events

As part of the festival organization, we have been interviewed on the radio Rouge FM and have been filmed for the presentation video of our crowdfunding campaign. Moreover, despite the cancellation of some activities, we maintained the Bollywood movie, the yoga class, the discussion panel and the brunch.

Gratefulness

Thanks to the support of our partners, sponsors and hosts, we have been able to collect more money for the education projects we support than in 2016.

The 2018 calendar

With the whole communication and organization for the Festival of India, we almost forgot to let you know that you are also working on the 2018 calendar with guest photographers.

It will feature well known photographers like Yann Arthus Bertrand, who is making us the honour once again and donated one of his pictures for our calendar. Other photographer that you might have seen and admired their photographs in our 2017 calendar will be present too and new guests as well.

In order to avoid any unnecessary printing costs, we have decided to proceed via a pre-order form. If the pre-orders reach 20 copies, the calendar will be edited, if not, we will wait to have 20 steady orders.

Yoga and Bollywood dancing classes

Yoga

On Saturday November 4th, two yoga courses of 1h15 will be given, one in the morning around 9am, and one in the afternoon around 3pm. Another yoga class could be added on Sunday morning November 5th, depending on the demand.

Yoga does good to your soul and body, it is accessible for all ages and physical conditions. Come with your partners and children for a family activity.

Opening Night

Sweetiee Weds NRI - Bollywood Movie

On Friday November 3rd at 8pm, doors open at 7:30.

This evening open the festivities with a fun and colored movie, in Hindi and subtitled in English.

Synopsis: Sweetiee's father is a rich business man from Gujarat. He insists his daughter marries an Indian from England.
